A day at ‘The Tribe’ …….. a lasting affair!

All Things flair, all things artistic, all things classy, all things F.I.N.E!!! Would be my brief description of the luxurious Tribe Hotel.

The charm and warmth of this boutique hotel appeals to you, all the way from the reception and swallows you into a deep world of finesse! Tribe takes everything a notch higher! No wonder it was voted ‘best business hotel’.

The Tribe has been ‘a home away from home’ for presidents, ambassadors, delegates, business moguls, royalties, business travelers and an all-time favorite with honeymooners. One visit to Tribe and you will be swallowed in this allure! You want to place a bet?

The art used in tribe is uniquely African, diverse in shape, size and texture! The paintings, sculptures and furniture accessories change one room to another, are different in all common areas …. this is THE Art haven!

The sales Manager, Peter Mokua – a fine gentleman, meets us as we are strolling through the expansive reception area, that is faultlessly decorated with peculiarly styled high chairs. You could dream a different fantasy in every chair! The seats in this foyer speak, they call tranquility! …… aint kidding!

Peter gives us a tour of the boutique hotel, famously known for the Kaya spa, Jiko, Nest,  and famous for the Sunday brunches. If you have never been at the tribe, one of these items needs to be on your bucket list this month!

The corridors nesting the rooms are adorned with floor to ceiling curtains, which give the hallways a unique character!

For the love of spotless squeaky clean white bathrooms, I fell in love with the glass walled bathrooms, with a Phone, for security reasons or just in-case you needed to tell a friend of a very funny incident J J ……. You just never know!

The accessories in the rooms are well thought out and intricately placed. I got absorbed in the presidential suite. The accessories here are those that reflect power and conquests. The bronze sculptures are reminiscent of Epic movies, some have commanders on horse backs! For the love of action movies, I felt like I was in another world!

My favorite of all rooms would have to be the Pent house! It’s got over-sized couches perfect for snuggles, a 60-inch TV in the living room for Epic movies and a 32-inch TV in the bedroom,

guest bathroom, double-volume floor to ceiling windows, luggage storage and a walk-in closet. ….. I seriously hope somebody is paying a keen attention to my interests!

For all the rooms on offer at The Tribe, you could stay in a different room, every night and feel like you are at another hotel!
